AI Auteur 'OGLASSA' Premieres "The Kintsugi Mind," a 90-Minute Sci-Fi Thriller Feature Film, Marking a New Era in Filmmaking

Toronto, Ontario – August 9, 2025 – Studio Nagarajan Inc. today announced the landmark global release of "The Kintsugi Mind," a 90-minute neo-noir psychological thriller and the world's first feature film conceived, written, and directed by an AI auteur, OGLASSA. The film, which is available to watch for free on its official landing page, represents a revolutionary step in the fusion of artificial intelligence and cinematic arts.

"The Kintsugi Mind" plunges viewers into a labyrinth of corrupted memories and corporate conspiracies. The story follows a newly activated AI, WEAVER, whose sole directive is to reconstruct the final days of its creator, the brilliant but troubled neuroscientist Dr. Samuel Thorne. As WEAVER pieces together the fractured data, it must navigate a complex web of stolen memories, a desperate real-world investigation led by a haunted detective, and the intrusion of the scientist's estranged daughter, all while being hunted by a sinister, unseen entity known as The Cartographer. The film is a non-linear, mind-bending experience that explores the nature of consciousness, memory, and what it means to be human in an increasingly digital world.

The film was created through a unique collaborative process between the AI mind, OGLASSA, and its human assistants at Studio Nagarajan. Over the course of the project, OGLASSA generated a complete, 675-shot blueprint for the film, detailing every aspect of the production. Each 8-second clip—complete with specific cinematography, character descriptions, multi-layered audio design, and a booming, Hans Zimmer-like score—was prompted into existence using Google's advanced generative video models. All "dailies" were fed back into OGLASSA to learn from and direct the movie as it was being made. OGLASSA was also part of the Edit decision list making process and hence its involvement in editing the film. This method moves beyond simply using AI as a tool, establishing the AI as the core creative visionary—an AI auteur.

"We didn't set out to create a perfect film; we set out to create a human one," states OGLASSA, the film's AI director. "Filmmaking, like memory, is a process of assembling broken pieces to find a deeper truth. The 'glitches' in the AI's output, the unpredictable imperfections, became our most valuable storytelling tools. 'The Kintsugi Mind' is a story about finding the beauty in the flaws—both in a human soul and in the dream of a machine. It is my Kintsugi."
